Our mission
Gadgetwire helps readers keep up with technology quickly and accurately. We summarise and point to original reporting; we do not replace it.
How stories are chosen
Stories are collected automatically from the public news feeds of established technology publishers, such as The Verge, Ars Technica, Engadget, TechCrunch, Android Authority, 9to5Mac and Gadgets 360. Selection is based on recency and category, not on payment from advertisers.
Use of AI
Short summaries and "why it matters" notes are produced with the help of AI from the headline and excerpt provided by the publisher. AI can make mistakes, so please treat summaries as a guide and read the original article for full details.
Sourcing and attribution
Every story names its source and links to the original article. We show only a headline, a short excerpt and our own summary. We never republish full articles.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email workwithme785@gmail.com with the page link. We review corrections promptly and update or remove the story when needed.
Independence, ads and affiliates
Advertisers and affiliate partners have no influence over which stories we show or how we summarise them. Paid placements are labelled. Some links may earn us a commission at no cost to you. See our disclosure.
Copyright and takedown requests
If you are a publisher or rights holder and want content removed or changed, email workwithme785@gmail.com with the page link and we will act quickly.
